"I was 8 years old when I decided to become a pediatrician. I know I made the right decision!  I have always thought education of patients and their families is one of my most important roles as a general pediatrician.  I encourage families to ask questions about normal development and illness. It is important for parents to understand what is happening to their child.   I work hard to make office visits more comfortable with gentle exams and distractions."
